The Ministry of Health and Welfare issued an order (衛授食字第1141601276號) on February 2, 2026, amending the second point and its appendix of the ‘Documents to Be Submitted for Case-by-Case Review of the Use of Exosomes Derived from Human Cells in Cosmetics’. The amendment is effective from the date of issuance. The appendix has been revised, updating the list of documents required for case-by-case review applications.
The Taiwan FDA has amended the required documents for case-by-case review of exosomes derived from human cells in cosmetics, effective immediately. Companies submitting such applications must follow the revised document requirements, including the updated appendix to the second point.
