Tiktok intends to Enter the Spanish Beauty E-commerce Market

CosmeticsBridge has learned from reliable sources that Tiktok intends to enter the Spanish e-commerce market and Beauty business is the No.1 popular category. 

Recent employment data posted on TikTok’s official website further substantiate the news. It indicates that twelve positions, such as beauty sector director, fashion category director, and logistics operation director, are recurring in Spain.

Since 2022, TikTok has adapted its strategy for exploring new markets. It intends to solve the problem of logistics and warehousing in the local area before beginning to improve other infrastructure. Local warehouses can be constructed in Europe and other global markets.

The TikTok job listing for “Spain Logistics Operations Supervisor” supports this conclusion. This position oversees logistics operations in Spain, including import customs clearance, express delivery, the fulfillment warehouse, reverse logistics, and the reverse warehouse. Establishing vital strategic relationships with major sellers, 3PLs, and logistics providers to achieve end-to-end logistical performance and delivery. According to reports, TikTok opened its first location in Madrid in September of 2020. In July of 2021, Telefónica and TikTok formed a strategic alliance. In November 2021, TikTok will launch a Spanish-language voice page for Spanish-speaking customers in the United States.

Statistics show that Spain will have about 20 million TikTok users by 2022, making it the third most popular app after Instagram and Facebook. (Spain’s population in January 2021 was 47,398 million.)
