First Thing First:

Please note all the English Ingredients Name (or INCI) must be tranlated to Japanese Labeling Name when design the Japanese cosmetics package and labels. The following table will sever the purpose to help you tranlate the ingredients names.

Notes

Ingredients with the label name “palm”, “palm oil”, “coca”, and “coco” (excluding the following ingredients) were produced from fatty oils obtained from coconut seeds, but in recent years they have also been produced from fatty oils obtained from the nuclei of oil palm fruits, which are plants of the same palm family.

In this situation, please note that ingredients with “palm”, “palm oil”, “coca” and “coco” in the display name (excluding the following ingredients) will include not only coconuts but also those obtained from oil palms.
the ingredients obtained from both of these are almost the same, but if you would like to know whether it is obtained from coconut palms or oil palms, please contact the cosmetics company listed on the product.

  • ingredients with “coca” not covered above: altocarpusla coca tree extract, salcopunos classicophoria callus solubility, solanumuricocarpum fruit extract, misima psychocarus culture extract
  • ingredients with “coco” not covered above: coconut extract, coconut fruit, coconut fruit extract, coconut juice, coconut shell, coconut flower sugar, coconut water, saccharomyces / coconut nectar fermented liquid, sinopsis kuebraco colorado tree extract
    in addition to “coconut palm” and “oil palm”, there are also “acai palm”, “american oil palm”, “ougiashi”, “omiteng palm”, and “date palm”, and there are also ingredients that use these as display names, but they are not the above object.
    in addition, “palm oil” and “oil palm fruit extract” using “oil” and “oil palm” that do not require the above correspondence from the viewpoint of manufacturing of raw materials are not also eligible.
