china public consulting on safety and technical standards for cosmetics 2015

On March 06, 2019, China National Institutes for Food and Drug Control posts a notice to collect public opinions on amending certain parts of the China Safety and Technical Standards for Cosmetics 2015.

Scope of the Amendment:

Collecting public opinions on Prohibited use ingredients list and Limited usage ingredients list with their testing methods which are included in China Safety and Technical Standards for Cosmetics 2015.

Requirement:

  • The proposal should be based on the current status of the industry and serve the actual supervision of cosmetics.
  • The contents of the proposed amendments should include the type of amendment, the purpose of the amendment, the scope of application, domestic and foreign conditions, etc. (Details on the following proposal forms.)
  • It can also provide relevant scientific documents, demonstration reports and other relevant materials that support the revision suggestion.

Submission

Send the completed proposal form (Excel format),  proposal letter (PDF format) and related materials to e-mail to [email protected]; and post the company stamped proposal letter to the National Institutes for Food and Drug Contro.
